Hey everyone thanks for stopping by “Wednesday Night Trenches”.
This section is for everything Wednesday Night. So, volunteer, pastor tell us how your Wednesday night went.
How many kids. boys/girls.
What snack. What craft. Got a great idea or need one?
Let’s help each other out. Spill your guts. Rant or rave.
We all know Wednesday night has its own challenges. A high percent of these kids are unchurched.
This might be the only way the bible enters their home. Don’t let anyone diminish your role on Wednesday night it is very important.
I just want to tell you thanks for being there.
Let’s Do This Thing!!!!

This was the start of our new season. This is a new church for me and a new childrens program.
After seven years at one church. We bought a new home and got a new church.
Kids are the same all over. We had 37 kids to start the program.
Our program is Cosmic…….something… It’s about God and the universe. Sounds like it will be fun.

Hey everyone our Wed. went great. We had about 50 kids. The negative is that the Children’s Christmas Musical is practicing the same time, which means half the kids leave for that. Some of these kids are here just for the musical. Any suggestions on how to kept these kids cominig back after the musical.

Hey Gary!!! Great looking blog!!! Welcome aboard the Team!!! Super excited about the several years of partnering together in CM! Hint, hint!!!
Lori and I will do EVERYTHING in our power to encourage the kids to keep coming on Wednesday nights after the kids’ choir practices are done! I think the best way is to do what you do best – engage the kids with fun and genuine relationships! Which I’m already seeing!!!
Plus, the Wednesday night Elementary crew will need to get together sometime to look for expanding next year’s Wednesday night programming as desired by church leadership. It’s gonna be EPIC!!

Wow, practicing for the Christmas musical already? I thought five weeks was a long time! As far as keeping the kids involved past the musical, invite, invite, invite. Make sure you tell them about upcoming events. Stop by to drop off cookies once in awhile. Find out their avenue into the church (family, friend) and encourage that person to keep inviting too.
We’re doing a Sillybandz lesson tonight from Ministry to Children. Looking forward to it. We just did a special Lord’s Prayer event last weekend and it went great.
